The sender, whose name is Edoardo wrote that Venice was the most romantic and beautiful city in the world. I've already been there, in 2008, with a school choir trip - and I must say I really liked it. In the picture the gondola boats can be seen. I didn't get a chance to be a passenger in it, but I'd love to try it one day. It's incredible how the whole transport in Venice is dependent on the water. Just this makes the city unique and memorable.
The stamp is definitely one of the official, Italian ones, as you can see the country's flag on it.
